Stacy Edgar, FNP-C, graduated from Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, MO, with her associate degree in nursing (ADN), from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO, with her Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) and from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN, with her Master of Science in nursing (MSN).
Edgar is accepting new patients and her area of experience is family health, which includes sick visits, pediatric care, annual preventive wellness visits, women’s health screening exams and contraceptive care, immunizations, physicals, DOT physicals, referrals to specialists, pre-employment testing and school screenings. Additionally, Edgar performs minor procedures and helps manage chronic conditions and coordination of care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Edgar was a registered nurse for nearly 10 years. She always strives to treat people how she would like to be treated or how she would like someone to treat her mother. Keeping that in mind helped shape her nursing career and guides her daily as a provider. In her spare time, Edgar enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with her husband and three children.
